What is the Serengeti Tracker E-billing Certification?

Serengeti Law developed the Serengeti Tracker E-billing Certified program to help e-billing enabled law firms communicate that:
  • The certified firm has configured their time and billing software
    to produce electronic invoices. The additional LEDES 1998B
    certification indicates that the firm is able to produce LEDES
    compliant invoices.
  • The certified firm is actively submitting electronic invoices to
    one or more clients through the Serengeti Tracker system.



What does this certification mean to companies and firms?

When corporations are deciding which law firms to retain for new work, use of technology is a primary factor in their decision. Electronic invoicing is one such technology that is becoming a significant differentiator for many corporate clients.

Today approximately one-third of corporate legal departments are either requiring electronic invoices or are considering requiring them of their firms. This certification sends a clear message that your law firm is willing to embrace new technologies like electronic billing that improve efficiency and strengthen the attorney-client relationship.

What is the Tracker Worldwide Directory of Firms?

All Serengeti Tracker E-billing certified firms are also automatically included in the Tracker Worldwide Directory of Firms, one of the largest legal e-billing networks in the world. This directory is used by more than in-house clients on Serengeti Tracker to identify e-billing enabled firms and assign new work.
 

How much does it cost for a law firm to receive an E-billing Certification or join the Tracker Worldwide Directory?

There are no charges to law firms for use of the Serengeti system or any of the services including the e-billing certification or worldwide directory inclusion.
