How long does it take to get Tracker up and running?
Implementation typically lasts three months for large legal departments, less for small departments, and can be done in as little as one week.

How are new users trained? How long does it take?
New users are trained right at their desks online and the phone. Training takes one hour to learn all features of the system. Training is available 24/7 in a variety of formats.

How will my team get support?
Legal Tracker has built an award winning Support Team of technical experts and former lawyers to answer questions and provide best practices for your Tracker in-house team. Help is available 24/7 in a variety of formats 24/7.

Is Tracker available outside of the U.S.?
Legal Tracker is used by law firms and legal departments in 192 countries. It automatically converts currency, tracks international taxes and connects you with any firm of any size virtually anywhere.

How do you charge my company for use of the system?
Legal Tracker charges law departments a fixed monthly fee, based upon the amount of work on the system. There is also a one-time setup and training charge, generally equivalent to two months of use charges. As a result, law departments can easily budget for the total annual cost of the system.

Do you charge law firms for use of the system?
No, Tracker does not charge law firms to use the system so you don’t have to worry about those fees being billed back to your company in any form.

What are the additional costs for maintenance, support, and upgrades?
Tracker’s monthly fee covers all ongoing costs of system maintenance, support and upgrades.

What is the minimum contract term?
One year.

How many of my resources/people will need to be repurposed to run Tracker?
It is helpful to have one designated Tracker Coordinator to run the system, become proficient and assist other users. However, everyone in your department will benefit from Tracker’s wide range of features and because the system is so intuitive, basic training takes about an hour.

What is the projected savings in time and money?

How secure is the Tracker SaaS model?
LegalTracker is the first and only legal matter management and e-billing system to be SOC 2 and SOC 3 certified. The SOC 2 Type II compliance standard includes security, availability, processing integrity and confidentiality as defined by the AICPA. The SOC 3 Report provides the description of Serengeti’s information security controls and the opinion of the auditor as to the relevance of those controls.
