Latest release significantly reduces review time and improves access to information

Bellevue, WA – November 4, 2008 – Serengeti Law today announced major advances in online legal bill review in Serengeti Tracker®, the legal profession’s highest rated and most widely used matter management and e-billing system. Tabbed Invoicing – Vital matter and financial information organized with the bill
In the paper world, bill review requires in-house counsel to pull case files to check budgets, case plans, status updates, and other key information. Tracker 9.0 provides a much quicker online alternative with a new tabbed invoice that includes all relevant information and analysis in a single view. Tracker 9.0 also saves time for in-house counsel who review a high volume of legal bills. Reviewers can group and subtotal pending bills by project, firm, type of matter, or other categories, so they can see all related bills at a glance. These views, combined with Tracker’s unique 1-Click Approval, enable in-house counsel to check key data (e.g., billing firm, fees, and expenses) and quickly approve a single invoice or group of invoices without having to click on each bill.

Consolidated Billing Matters – Simplify management of high-volume work
In the past, law departments with large numbers of IP, mass tort, and other high-volume matters spent significant time inputting and maintaining data internally. With this release, companies can create Consolidated Billing Matters and require their law firms to manage this data for them.

For example, if Acme Inc. created a Consolidated Billing Matter for their worldwide ACME trademark, firms would create sub-matters for each country filing, to which they would post their invoices. This process reduces the administrative burden on companies while maintaining the same vital matter and spending information in the system.
