Serengeti Converts Tracker to Microsoft .NET FrameworkTracker 6.5 enhances system performance and scalabilityBellevue, WA – February 15, 2005 –Serengeti Law today announced the release of Serengeti Tracker 6.5, which includes its Microsoft .NET conversion. Although this release does not affect any specific user features, the changes to the Tracker platform strengthen Serengeti’s leadership in performance, security, and scalability for web-based matter management and e-billing. This upgrade also facilitates the rapid growth of the shared Tracker platform and worldwide directory of firms, which currently has over 6,500 corporations and law firms working together in more than 100 countries. "Our primary goal in converting to .NET was to ensure that Serengeti could quickly respond to customer feedback and implement new features in a scaleable framework," explained Richard Boone, Serengeti's Vice President of Operations. "With the release of Tracker 6.5, we will be able to take advantage of the superior Microsoft development resources and make sure that Serengeti continues to lead the market in web-based technology." While this upgrade focuses on system architecture, Serengeti's next release (third quarter of 2005) will deliver a significant number of new product features.
